Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine – CDC recommends boosters in 16 – 17-year-olds
On December 9, 2021, the CDC Director recommended the use of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, for a single booster dose to individuals 16 years of age and older who have completed a primary series with Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine or Comirnaty®. This expands the use of Comirnaty as a booster which was previously indicated only for adults 18 years and older.
