Moxidectin – New orphan drug approval
June 13, 2018 - Medicines Development for Global Health (MDGH) and World Health Organization Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases announced the FDA approval of moxidectin, for the treatment of onchocerciasis due to Onchocerca volvulus in patients aged 12 years and older.
