Pfizer – Recall of Chantix® (varenicline)
July 19, 2021 - Pfizer announced the escalation of the voluntary recall of Chantix (varenicline) tablets from the wholesale-level to the consumer-level due to the presence of a nitrosamine, N-nitroso-varenicline, above the Pfizer established acceptable daily intake (ADI) level. A total of twelve lots of Chantix tablets are being recalled.
